About Beth Shepherd

After a corporate career of almost thirty years, I am now an artist, art history student, click business owner and community volunteer. I take art history and philosophy courses at Carleton University to energize my art practice. Here I am #3

The image is a self-portrait I painted as part of my course on Aboriginal Self-portraiture. No I am not aboriginal, but in studying their self-portraiture I learned a lot about our First Peoples and myself.

On this site I will present a virtual gallery of my work in which I explore things that interest me as a visual artist and a student of art history. I hope you will enjoy this exploration.
